Solicitation of proposals for
actuarial services
West Mifflin Sanitary Sewer Municipal
Authority is seeking proposals for actuarial services relative to its Pension
Plan. [The RFP, including specifications,
procedures to compete for the work, and disclosures are available on the Authority’s
website at www.wmssma.org or by contacting
the Authority at (412) 466-6070]
The specifications are set forth in the RFP and include
detailed questions associated with qualifications, experience, expertise and
compensation to be charged. In order to
compete for the work, a response to the RFP should be on or before August 19,
2010. The Authority will accept bids until 9:50AM on August 19, 2010 with
opening of these bids at 10:00 AM August 19, 2010. As set forth in the RFP, the
response should include several disclosures including a completed Disclosure
Statement. The Authority reserves the
right to request additional information from any or all respondents, to waive
any defect or abnormality to award or not award all or any portion of the
described work, to issue modifications or to otherwise move forward in the best
interest of the Authority.
