RESOLUTION NO 83-04

A RESOLUTION OF THE WEST MIFFLIN SANITARY SEWER MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY, ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF DUQUESNE FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF BILLING AUTHORITY CUSTOMERS WITHIN THE CITY OF DUQUESNE WATER DEPARTMENT SERVICE AREA.

WHEREAS, the Authority and the City of Duquesne have held discussions regarding the implementation of a program for the provision of data to the Authority for purposes of billing customers within the City of Duquesne water department service area; and

WHEREAS, it is in the mutual best interest of the Authority and City to implement this agreement.

NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved and it is hereby resolved as follows:

1. The Board hereby approves the Agreement negotiated between the Authority and the City of Duquesne upon recommendation of the General Manager and Solicitor.

2. The proper officers are authorized to authorized, empowered and directed to execute the agreement and to take all necessary steps to implement its provision.

3. Any Resolution or parts of Resolutions that are contrary to or conflict with the provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent necessary to give this Resolution full force and effect.
