RESOLUTION 76-03

 

RESOLUTION OF THE WEST MIFFLIN SANITARY SEWER MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY REGUARDING THE STREETS RUN INTERCEPTOR LINE REHABILITATION CONTRACT NUMBER 2002-01

 

WHEREAS, the Borough of Brentwood, Borough of Baldwin, Borough of Whitehall, and the West Mifflin Sanitary Sewer Municipal Authority (WMSSMA)(Collectively referred to as the “Streets Run Watershed Municipal Members”) have resolved to enter into a Collective Agreement for the management and financing of the rehabilitation of the Streets Run Sewer Trunkline.  The WMSSMA agreed to this in Resolution Number 00-56.

 

WHEREAS, this collective agreement has resulted in the design and bidding of Contract No. 2002-01 Streets Run Interceptor Line Rehabilitation whose lowest responsible bidder is Nicassio Corporation.

 

WHEREAS, Gateway Engineers, Inc. has presented the breakdown of construction charges dated February 4, 2003, by municipal member, based on the Existing Intermunicipal Arrangements, the low bid of Nicassio Corporation, and the grant awarded by 3 Rivers Wet Weather, Inc. as shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto. 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the WMSSMA that the Contract No. 2002-01 be awarded to Nicassio Corporation, as the lowest responsible bidder, and for the cost sharing allocation as presented in Exhibit A.

 

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the WMSSMA agree to pay to the Borough of Baldwin, as the direct contracting municipal member, for WMSSMA’s share of the contract as presented in Exhibit A.

 

Resolved this 20th Day of February 2003.
