RESOLUTION NO. 60-01 

 

A RESOLUTION OF THE WEST MIFFLIN SANITARY SEWER MUNIIPAL AUTHORITY AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 48-99 WHICH IMPLEMENTED A PRETREATMENT PROGRAM AND PROVIDED FOR PENALTIES.

 

WHEREAS, the Authority Board previously approved Resolution 48-99 implementing a pretreatment program including enforcement procedures; and

 

WHEREAS, the Board is desirous of amending Section 905.4, Control of

 

Prohibited Wastes, of the Resolution.

 

NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved and it is hereby resolved as follows:

 

1.       Section 905.4(i)(b) Grease Removal Systems Is hereby amended as follows:

 

                       B.       Any user required to install a grease removal system must install either (1) an outdoor passive in-ground grease interceptor, (2) a semi-automatic electrical/mechanical grease removal unit, or (3) an automatic electrical/mechanical grease removal unit.

2.      All previous Resolutions inconsistent with this Resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such Inconsistency. All other provisions of Resolution 49-99 shall remain in full force and effect.
