RESOLUTION
49-99
AN ORDINANCE
OF THE WEST MIFFLIN SANITARY SEWER MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 48-99 WHICH IMPLEMENTED A PRETREATMENT PROGRAM AND PROVIDED FOR PENALTIES.
WHEREAS, the Authority Board previously approved Resolution No. 48-99
implementing a pretreatment program including enforcement procedures; and
WHEREAS, the Board is desirous of imposing an application fee under Section
905.6 of the Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved and it is hereby resolved as follows:
1. Section 905.6(b)(2) is
hereby amended as follows:
Significant industrial user application. Users required to obtain a significant industrial user permit shall
complete and file with the WMSSMA, an application in the form prescribed by
the WMSSMA. Significant industrial
users shall apply for a significant industrial user permit within ninety (90)
days after notification of the WMSSMA’s determination in section 905.6(b)(1)
above. In support of the application,
the user shall submit, in units and terms appropriate for evaluation, the
following information:
a. Name, address and location (if different from the address);
b. Standard
Industrial Classification (SIC) codes for pretreatment, the industry as a
whole and any processes for which categorical pretreatment standards have
been promulgated;
c. The applicant shall pay
to the Authority a non-refundable application fee of $75.00.
2.
All previous Resolutions inconsistent with this Resolutions
are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency. All other provisions of Resolution 48-99 shall
remain in full force and effect.
