RESOLUTION NO. 14-97
A RESOLUTION OF THE WEST MIFFLIN SANITARY SEWER MUNICIPAL
AUTHORITY
AMENDING RESOLUTION NOS. 1-96 AND 13-97.
WHEREAS, the West Mifflin Sanitary Sewer Municipal
Authority enacted Resolution No. 1-96, which authorized payment of various
connection and tap-in fees; and
WHEREAS, the Authority adopted Resolution No.
13-97, which amended Resolution No. 1-96 by providing a total authorized tap-in
fee of $3,145.00 per EDU, consisting of $2,052.00 for the
collection portion of the fee and $1,093.00 for the
capacity portion of the fee; and
WHEREAS, the Authority deems it necessary to
amend said
Resolution No. 13-97 to provide
for additional provisions regarding tap-in approval and fee payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY
RESOLVED as follows:
1. The Authority shall review water usage per EDU annually
and reserves the right to adjust certain fees after one (1) year and annually based upon said
review.
2. Any entity obtaining approval for tap-in from the Authority
must commence construction with six (6) months from the date of approval or
said approval shall be null and void and the EDU’s represented by said approval shall be available
for allocation to
other users.
3. A commercial equivalent dwelling unit shall be defined as a multi-family
dwelling structure or any structure used for the conducting of a commercial
business.
4. All other provisions of Resolution Nos. 1-96 and 13-97
are hereby incorporated by reference as though set forth fully herein at length.
RESOLVED, this 6th day of February 1997.
