RESOLUTION NO. 13-97
A RESOLUTION OF THE WEST MIFFLIN SANITARY SEWER MUNICIPAL AUTHORITYACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF THE ACT 203 STUDY, ESTABLISHING A TAP FEEFOR THE AUTHORITY AND AMENDIING RESOLUTION NO. 1-96, WMSSMA ANDWMB 12006
WHEREAS: The Authority on July 3, 1996, enacted Resolution No. 1-96 which authorized the payment of various connection or tap-in-fees, and
WHEREAS: The West Muffin Sanitary Sewer Municipal Authority (Authority) has authorized the preparation of an Act 203 Study by Chester Engineers, the Authority’s consulting engineer, to determine the proper tap-in fee; and
WHEREAS: Chester Engineers has delivered to the Board the Act 203 Study; and
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved and it is hereby resolved as follows;
FIRST: The Authority Board hereby acknowledges receipt of the Act 203 study, which has been conducted pursuant to Act 203 of 1990.
SECOND: The Authority hereby acknowledges that the total authorized tap-in-fee is $3,145.00 per EDU consisting of $2,052.00 for the collection portion of this tap-in-fee and $1,093 for the capacity portion of the tap-in-fee.
THIRD: The Authority hereby amends Resolution no. 1-96 to include the tap-in-fee provided herein.
FOURTH: The Authority hereby establishes $3,145.00 as the tap-in-fee consisting of $2,052 per EDU for the collection portion and $1,093.00 per EDU for the capacity portion.
FIFTH: All other provisions of Resolution No, 1-96 are hereby incorporated by reference with the same force and effect as though filly set forth herein at length.
SIXTH: This Resolution shall take effect immediately.
